JAYS ends 2010 on a high with Hi-Fi World Award
The Swedish earphone and headphone manufacturer Jays AB (publ) has ended 2010 in style with a prestigious award from the leading British audio publication Hi-Fi World. The v-JAYS model received the 2010 Hi-Fi World Best Accessory of the Year Award to further boost Jays’ position in the international market.
Since 2007 Jays has developed a reputation as one of the world's best manufacturers of portable media player accessories. Jays products have generated five star reviews and won numerous awards in the international media. This latest award from one of the world’s leading audio publications adds to the accolades already received by the v-JAYS model.
The Hi-Fi World Best Accessory of the Year Award 2010 will be presented at a ceremony during the Sound & Vision fair in Bristol in February.
Daniel Anderson, designer at Jays explains the secret of Jays’ success, “We develop all of our earphones and headphones ourselves to ensure that there is a pair of ears for every product. The concept of v-JAYS was to make a big and heavy sound in a portable form. We worked for a long time to deliver the sound we were looking for and it’s turned out to be the perfect all-round headphone, able to reproduce detailed acoustic sound as well as the heaviness of electronic music and metal. This award recognises the fact that we’ve managed to make a difference, we’re delighted with that and hope our users will be too.”
