Andreas Bäckman kör denna helg, 13-15 maj, 12-timmars racet Hankook 12h Hockenheimring tillsammans med Lestrup Racing Team i en deras helt nya Audi RS 3 LMS TCR-bilen som uppladdning inför årets STCC-säsong. Det blir både ett nytt team och ny bil för Andreas. – Spännande att få komma i gång och köra igen, blir många värdefulla mil i den nya bilen, säger Andreas Bäckman.

Andreas Bäckman drives the 12 hours of Hockenheim

This weekend, May 13th-15th, Andreas Bäckman will drive the 12-hour race Hankook 12h Hockenheimring together with Lestrup Racing Team in their brand-new Audi RS 3 LMS TCR car as a preparation for this year's STCC season. It will be both a new team and a new car for Andreas. - Exciting to get started and drive again, will be many valuable kilometres in the new car, Andreas Bäckman says.

Racingsyskonen Andreas och Jessica Bäckman inledde sina respektive racingkarriärer som blott 9 och 7 år gamla. De har genom åren tävlat i stora förarmästerskap som STCC, Scandinavian Touring Car Championship, och den brittiska motsvarigheten TCR UK, samt i europamästerskapet TCR Europe, med fantastiska framgångar som resultat. Under 2023 tävlar syskonen för första gången i samma bil och samma mästerskap där de tävlar i GT4 European Series för racing one.
