Tech Tour names Top 25 Nordic Tech Companies - inRiver is among them!

Tech Tour, the European organization which offers an investor platform to existing and emerging technology companies, together with Johnny Henriksen, Anders Lindqvist and Ilkka Kivimäki, Co‐presidents of the Nordic Tech Tour, announced on 3 June 2014 the names of the Top 25 top investment opportunities in the Nordics. Of the high-tech growth companies across multiple industry sectors, the Top 25 were chosen completely on merit by an independent Selection Committee composed of industry experts, investors and entrepreneurs. inRiver was selected as one of the Top 25 of the Nordic’s most exciting entrepreneurs seeking funding for their growth, and had the opportunity to present to 80 investors, and large corporate and government representatives in Stockholm on 3 June 2014.

The Nordics have been a hot spot for innovation and entrepreneurship over the last 10 years, where the biggest trend has been to produce high quality ICT companies that have huge success globally. Trend applications for this year’s Nordic Tech Tour were predominantly ICT. The sub‐sectors represented in the 25 selected companies reflect this with 28% coming from Web & Ecommerce, closely followed by 24% in Mobile Apps. As is the hallmark of the Tech Tour, over 70% of the companies are in an expansion phase.
