Press release -

Infobric acquires Tempus AS and strengthens its position as a digitalisation partner to the construction industry

Infobric strengthens its offering of smart IT services in order to increase security and efficiency in the construction industry in the North As part of the acquisition, Tempus AS and its Swedish subsidiary Templus AB have now become part of Infobric.

For more than 30 years, Norway-based Tempus has developed and delivered systems to help companies achieve an easier working day. Time reports systems have been at the centre from the beginning, giving customers the tools to gain an overview of time spent, as well as other important resources within the company. Today, Tempus provides a completely digital solution, tailored to the client’s requirements, which can be integrated with most enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Besides time reporting, Tempus also offers an electronic personnel ledger solution being used by construction companies in both Norway and Sweden. In total, the Tempus systems are used for around 2,300 projects in Norway.

The acquisition of Tempus is a strategically important step for Infobric, who since 2016 has been growing quickly in the Swedish market and, in the past five years, has been trying to establish its brand in the construction industry in Norway.

Together with Tempus, Infobric will be strengthening its position and offering, as well as providing the company with expertise in product development and sales within the Norwegian market.

– Norway is our next emerging market and the acquisition is an important step towards becoming the leading digitalisation partner for the construction industry in Norway. With Tempus, we gain more than 30 years’ experience and expertise in user-friendly solutions for, amongst other things, time reporting, whilst we strengthen our offering to help our customers increase security and efficiency in their construction projects, says Dan Friberg, CEO at Infobric AB.

In total, the group will have a turnover of more than 200 mil. SEK and employ around 80 workers. Jointly, the services will be utilised in close to 15,000 construction sites in the North.

– We see huge potential in growing together in Norway over the coming years. The construction industry is faced with a big digital transformation, at the same time as the industry continues to work under relatively high pressure. In addition to this, legal requirements, social demands and the expectations of the industry itself continue to increase the pressure on businesses to improve sustainability in the workplace, as well as economically, socially and environmentally. Infobric will now have even more power and expertise to develop solutions for facilitating this work for all involved actors, Dan Friberg continues.

– Together, Infobric and Tempus have a complementary product portfolio which gives our customers quick and simple possibilities for further developing their digitalisation process with the same supplier. Joint expertise and experience strengthen product development and will provide the market with effective and future-proof solutions, Claus H. Olsen, CEO at Tempus AS, adds.
