Icebound takes over full ownership of the GPS Timber product

After many years of joint ownership, Icebound now takes over 100% ownership of the GPS Timber product. A further strengthening of the offer to the forestry industry

GPS Timber was originally developed by Cartesia GIS AB (currently Icebound AB) but was later co-owned with Datapolarna AB during many successful years. Against the background of both companies' structural changes, it has resulted in Icebound taking over all responsibility for GPS Timber.

Long experience and great knowledge

As Icebound has worked continuously over the years with sales, introduction and strategic development of the product, this is not a radical change. We are now expanding and establishing the team that will manage and develop the product. Icebound stands ready to help our customers be competitive - also in the future. GPS Timber and GPS Timber Pulp are world leaders precisely in sawmills' and pulp mills' logistics and production support from incoming raw material - to the production line. Today there are roughly 40 customers in Sweden and across Europe.

GPS Timber - part of our total offer for the forest

Today, Icebound can claim to be a leader in Sweden in business solutions and modern web-based products for the forestry industry. Icebound Forest is a product suite that supports many processes at our customers. Our ambition to support the entire forest management and raw material/industrial process remains and is now emphasized even more with GPS Timber.
