Sweden's equivalent of Dolly Parton Maja Francis is a special guest on First Aid Kit's European tour - Premieres this weekend February 3rd in Berlin

With one foot in Scandinavian pop and the other in country, Maja Francis has put herself on the Swedish music map. After a total of four critically acclaimed interpretations by the artists Lasse Stefanz, Molly Hammar, Anna Ternheim and Nordman, Maja Francis finished this year's edition of Sweden's biggest music program Så Mycket Bättre (TV4). The songs have been praised in the Swedish press and before Christmas the covers were released together with the album "A Pink Soft Mess" as an exclusive vinyl.

The album includes the collaboration with First Aid Kit in the song "Mama", which was also interpreted by Albin Lee Meldau in Så Mycket Bättre. The song "Anxious Angel", the album's second single, has also received a lot of attention in the Netflix series "Love & Anarchy". The album was also named Debut Album of the Year 2021 by Alexandra Sundqvist on Dagens Nyheter and Swedish Album of the Year in the online magazine Popmani.

During spring of 2023, a fantastic opportunity awaits to experience Maja Francis live on intimate and historic stages around Sweden. But before that, Maja Francis is a special guest on First Aid Kit's European tour, which premieres on February 3 in Berlin. The tour reaches Sweden 1-4 March 2023 and stops in Gothenburg (Scandinavium), Malmö (Malmö Arena) and Stockholm (Avicii Arena).
