European Conference of the Family 2014

A key issue in European family policies is the role of women participation in the fork force and daycare for children, often called work-family balance. Does the European family, as the key institution for reading healthy children, survive these policies? Sweden has pioneered a development with more women in the work force and more children in daycare. Is this a good development? What are the effects? What does science know about the needs of children in order to grow to their full potential? The EU-FAM 2014 attempts to shed some light on these key issues for family policies and human development in the future of Europe.
