New headphones bring studio-quality sound to consumer ears
HARMAN International (www.harman.com) has announced two new, all-purpose hi-fi stereo headphones: the AKG® K 520 over-ear headphones, which provide genuine hi-fi sound in comfort, and the AKG K 540 around-ear headphones, which provide clean, crisp sound free from artificial alterations or enhancements.
With a 2-D axis folding mechanism design, both the AKG K 520 and AKG K 540 headphones are lightweight and fold flat for easy storage.
Tuned to deliver the realistic, flat frequency response that music professionals insist on, the AKG K 520s come in a fashionable white design and will reproduce your favourite music the way the musicians originally intended it to be heard. Both models come with an all-new headband design, so they’ll fit comfortably for hours of continuous listening.
The AKG K 540 hi-fi stereo around-ear headphones are black with chrome accents. Unlike many competing consumer-headphone models, they are free from audio presets that artificially sweeten the sound. The true, realistic sound that music professionals insist on can be guaranteed with the AKG K 540 headphones.
The AKG K 520 and the AKG K 540 hi-fi stereo headphones are now available for €65 (K 520) and €99 (K 540) in Europe.
