HAMILTON and VENTURA Global to offer Automation Solutions on “Pay-to-use” basis

In response to both the rapid change in technology and the availability of specialized financing for high-technology capital equipment, procurement of laboratory instrumentation is undergoing an important transformation: the traditional Purchase and own it until obsolete model is evolving into the more flexible alternative Pay to use it until next technology renewal cycle to obtain the same results with less capital investment while using state of the art technology.

Hamilton now joins forces with VENTURA Global to offer its customers flexible operational leasing solutions: “We received a lot of requests from our customers recently, who prefer to stay flexible instead of binding their capital in equipment. Until now, Operational Leasing was not readily available for laboratory equipment for several reasons: Customers interested in the benefits of an Operational Lease (Rental) for laboratory equipment would also like to have the flexibility to upgrade, change or eventually buy the equipment during or after the Rental period. This flexibility is not readily available from Leasing Companies for this kind of high-value niche products with difficult remarketing opportunities.

Leasing companies, aware of the remarketing challenges for used lab equipment, require that someone guarantees the repurchase of the equipment and for multiple reasons neither the user nor the supplier can offer this guarantee.

“Both of above obstacles are now removed because we give the repurchase commitment to the leasing company and we are, therefore, also able to offer a procurement solution with a great deal of flexibility to the customers interested in Rental of laboratory equipment to fulfill their current and future instrumentation needs.
