Gernandt & Danielsson advises GSG Genii Software in connection with its acquisition of DataPolarna

Gernandt & Danielsson has advised GSG Genii Software Group GmbH (“Genii”) in connection with its acquisition of all shares in DataPolarna i Skellefteå AB. DataPolarna was founded in 1995 and is a consultancy company that specialises in developing efficient, customer-adapted and innovative software solutions for the sawmill and mining industries.

Genii, a portfolio company of the private equity firm Bregal Investments, provides market-leading, industry-specific software solutions. Genii’s turnover is EUR 340m and it has 2,400 employees in 16 countries.

Gernandt & Danielsson advises GSG Genii with a team consisting of partner Corinne Ekman (M&A), senior associate Pierre Olsson (M&A) and associate Björn Andersson (M&A) mainly assisted by partner Andreas Holmqvist (employment), senior associate Magdalena Jerner (IP) and associate Anna Jarl (employment).
