Readership record for the travel magazine FREEDOMtravel - more than 300,000 readers in July

The digital travel magazine FREEDOMtravel continues to grow, and at record speed. In July 2023, the magazine had 323,000 unique visitors, which confirms the magazine's strong upward trend. Most popular is reading about destinations in Sweden and Germany.

Record figures for the month of July 2023

Already in the first half of 2023, the digital travel magazine FREEDOMtravel showed good results, with an average of over 102,500 readers every month (14 percent increase compared to 2022). This increase is in line with the magazine's strategic work and continuous upward trend. In July, reading broke all records, with well over 300,000 readers according to Google Analytics, in just one month.

Great interest in Swedish and German destinations

The statistics show that there is a great interest among readers in Swedish travel destinations. It is very popular to read articles about both larger and smaller Swedish cities as well as about Swedish islands and various destinations that are suitable for holidays.

There is also great interest in German travel destinations – everything from big cities and small picturesque towns to holiday routes and castles. In addition, many readers have chosen to follow the FREEDOMtravel camper adventure in Finland – an 8-week trip from Åland Islands and Helsinki to Tornio/Haparanda.

FREEDOMtravel – travel magazine for the independent traveller

FREEDOMtravel is a digital travel magazine for the independent traveller. In the magazine you will find tips and inspiration about thngs to see and do at various destinations, regardless of whether you travel by car, camper, motorbike, train or plane. You will find over 4,000 articles such as city guides and articles about attractions, activities, nature experiences, themed routes and much more.

A large part of the articles is written by Helena and Peter Bergström, who themselves travel about ten months a year. In addition, there are another 15 guest writers associated with the magazine. The magazine is run by Peter and Helena Bergström from FREEDOMtravel AB, in collaboration with Tjälldén Media.
