FREEDOMtravel have gathered journalists and bloggers for Uzbekistan trip

The digital travel magazine FREEDOMtravel have gathered Nordic journalists and bloggers for a press trip to Uzbekistan, which is organized by Uzbekistan's official tourism organization. The trip will result in several different stories and travel reportages about Uzbekistan as a tourism destination.

Nordic journalists and travel bloggers to Uzbekistan

Peter and Helena Bergström, who are behind the digital travel magazine www.freedomtravel.se, have extensive experience in portraying and telling about travel destinations, in the form of written articles, films and posts on social media. As representatives of FREEDOMtravel, the couple has collaborated with many national tourism boards and travel agencies, but also with many other travel writers, travel bloggers and travel journalists.

When Uzbekistan planned to organize a press trip from the Nordic countries, FREEDOMtravel was therefore asked to put together a group of skilled travel writers. Now in April, it is time for the group, which consists of writers from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, to make a tour of Uzbekistan. The writers are offered a guided trip, and in addition to that, in some cases, journeys will be made on their own.

Uzbekistan – an exciting tourism destination

Uzbekistan is a fascinating country which has a lot to offer visitors, such as history, architecture, food culture, dance, crafts, nature, Unesco World Heritage and much more. Here you find the famous city of Samarkand, and here once upon a time the famous Silk Road passed. Other places of interest include the capital Tashkent and the historically intriguing city of Bukhara.

Uzbekistan has a great focus on tourism and has, among other things, ensured that the country is visa-free to visit for many of the world's nationalities. Citizens of the Nordic countries are free to visit the country for up to 30 days without a visa.
