Ferroamp wins Intersolar Award
Ferroamp’s new generation of Solar String Optimizer has been named the winner of the Intersolar Award, the most prestigious recognition in the global solar energy industry.
- That our new generation of Solar String Optimizer, SSO, has been chosen as the winner for the Intersolar Award is incredible, and a testimony of the innovative level of the products we develop. We have a strong team that has been working with the development of this extraordinary and new generation of SSO. The jury highlighted the new applications around electric car charging and off-grid solutions, where our SSO can be used. This is something that increases the market for our products, says Björn Jernström, CTO at Ferroamp.
Ferroamp’s Solar String Optimizer, SSO, is the product that is being used to connect solar panels to the EnergyHub system. The new generation of SSO, that Ferroamp has now started to deliver in volumes to customers, has market-leading performance in form of efficiency, flexibility, and safety. It is also prepared to be used for other applications outside of Ferroamp’s EnergyHub system.
The Intersolar Award is handed out in conjunction with the global fair Intersolar in Munich every year, and highlights new products and innovations that are contributing to the increased profitability and usefulness of solar energy.
