Ferroamp makes a new European business deal

Ferroamp has, together with the Swedish battery manufacturer Nilar AB and the Dutsch Indutecc, gotten the mission to help one of Netherlands biggest insurance companies to get one step closer to achieving their environmental goals. The business deal, which is one of many projects in the Netherlands, includes Ferroamp’s EnergyHub-system that controls solar cells and energy storage, and prepares for direct current (DC) charging of vehicles.

The insurance company a.s.r has since 2013 actively taken multiple measures to decrease their impact on the environment. The next step is now initiated, which creates possibilities for direct charging of the company’s and its employees’ electric vehicles, using solar energy. In the near future, all of the vehicles will also be able to empty out in order to supply energy for the employees’ homes, either completely or partially.

- We quickly found the Swedish sustain tech company Ferroamp and we have since the start been very impressed by the products, systems, and applications. Ferroamp is in a new and quickly growing market, and we noticed right away that Ferroamp’s systems had a higher technological readiness level (TROL) than other comparable companies, says Jos Ruijter, a.s.r. manager building & technic.

Ferroamp is prominent within direct current technology, and develops applications and systems that gives real estate owners the possibilities of managing and controlling their energy consumption for a completely sustainable climate calculation.

- For Ferroamp, the mission to help a.s.r with achieving their environmental goals is one in a series of many major projects, where we at the same time can offer a solution to solve the challenges of the Deutch electricity grid. That companies like a.s.r early on realises the benefits of Ferroamp’s EnergyHub system will help the market develop, and increase the pace in readjusting towards a more sustainable energy system, says Krister Werner, CEO at Ferroamp.
