Ferroamp is the official supplier for the Swedish pavilion at the World Exhibition Expo 2020 in Dubai

Ferroamp has been chosen as the official supplier for the Swedish pavilion at the World Exhibition Expo 2020 in Dubai. Ferroamp will supply the pavilion with their extraordinary energy system that controls solar cells and energy storage.

The system that Ferroamp will install is their world unique EnergyHub system, that will supply the Swedish pavilion with renewable energy from solar cells that are manufactured and delivered by Soltech Energy AB. The energy and power consumption in the pavilion will be reduced using energy storage and batteries from Nilar AB.

World Exhibition Expo 2020 Dubai

The World Exhibition has a long tradition and is one of the oldest and largest international events that is being held. It is arranged every fifth year and lasts for six months. The first exhibition was already back in 1851 in London, The Great Exhibition. Since then it has been arranged in Paris, New York, Tokyo, and most recently in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Expo 2020 is the first World Exhibition to be held in the Middle East and over 190 countries will participate. The theme of the exhibition is “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”, where the goal of the event is to build new partnerships and inspire new ideas that will build tomorrow’s world.

The exhibition has three areas: opportunity, mobility, and sustainability. Sweden’s pavilion will be placed in the sustainability area. Expo 2020 Dubai has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and will be occurring October 1st 2021 - March 31st 2022.
