Meet Abdul Majd, who works as a Processing Operator with us at Edsbyn.

Abdul, how long have you worked at Edsbyn?
I have worked at Edsbyn for two years. But before that, while I was still in school, I used to work extra in the evenings, on weekends, and during holidays.

Since you started working here, what has been most challenging?
The biggest challenge has been learning the machines, they are advanced machines and there is a certain learning curve. In the beginning, I was a bit afraid of making mistakes, but my boss and my team leaders have encouraged me to dare to try. If you don't dare to try and make mistakes, you won't learn anything new. Everyone is very supportive here.

Lastly, what's your best memory from working at Edsbyn?
When I visited the Stockholm Furniture Fair. I was honestly shocked and impressed by what my colleagues and I had accomplished. I felt such pride; some of the products at the fair were ones I had helped produce. It was really fun to see them on display.

Elevating Spaces since 1899
