Green AV possible with environmentally friendly screen fabric
Green AV has been a term on everyone’s lips in the AV industry, but Draper Europe AB has turned the talk into action. During Integrated Systems Europe 2012, Draper Europe will introduce Euroscreen® Xpert, an environmentally friendly screen fabric especially developed to meet high requirements for “green” installations.
Xpert is 100% PVC free, and is manufactured without using hazardous substances. While it is a more environmentally-friendly viewing surface, Xpert does not sacrifice quality and effectiveness. Xpert has a B1 flame retardant rating. The polyester fabric features a two-side polymer coating with a matt white woven front projection surface with a specially developed pattern structure to spread the projected light even over the surface. This pattern base also provides superior diffusion in the projected image, making it perform even better than the 1080 compliance standard. The fabric is also supplied with a white black-out backing for superior blocking of incoming light from behind.
Draper Europe will showcase Xpert on the high-end Euroscreen® Linea Tab Tension, and the recently upgraded recessed ceiling model Euroscreen® Sesame 2.1.
