If Skadeförsäkring AB supports DSM2022 as Silver Sponsor. What contributed to make this decision?
As a Nordic marine insurer where the Swedish shipping cluster is a large and central part, we want to support this unique event where such a large part of our partners, colleagues and friends are gathered on the island of Donsö.

What are your expectations for DSM2022?
To finally, after a long wait, meet both existing and new friends again in a true maritime environment.

What is your best memory from DSM19?
The best and most protruding memory from DSM19 is, as for all previous DSM events, the impressive collective effort of the organisers and volunteers to create such an excellent and highly professional event where the personal and local touch is still ever present.

Why is DSM important to your business?
The DSM is an excellent opportunity to meet stakeholders of the shipping sector and the fishing industry. We want to support our clients that make the DSM possible and continue to show the great importance this cluster has to us.

What do you find are the key issues facing the future of Shipping?
Sustainable shipping where we consider ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) factors – This is our responsibility to future generations. To create operating conditions that make sustainable shipping possible is a key issue for the entire global maritime sector in general and this is no exception for marine insurers.
