What are your expectations for DSM2023
We are thrilled to be participating in this prestigious event and it is an excellent opportunity for us to network with people in shipping, share our experiences and discuss the challenges and opportunities for the shipping industry in the future.

What is your best memory from DSM2022?
The naming ceremonies of all vessels at DSM2022.

What do you find are the opportunities and the biggest challenges in the Shipping Industry today?
As a participant in the DSM, we are constantly evaluating the trends and developments in the industry to identify new opportunities and challenges that may arise. Here are our thoughts:

Opportunities:
Digitalization – New opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing safety.
Sustainability – Opportunities for developing eco-friendly solutions that meet regulatory requirements and consumer demands for environmentally responsible practices.

Challenges:
Environmental Regulations – Stringent environmental regulations that require investments in new technologies and alternative fuels to comply with the regulations, which can be costly and time-consuming.

Digitalization – While digitalization presents opportunities, it also poses challenges in terms of cybersecurity risks, data privacy, and the need for workforce upskilling.

How would you describe DSM in one word?
Awesome

And finally, what is your best maritime memory?
My father had a converted fishing boat, which he used to take to various shipyards on the Swedish west coast, to rig fishing boats. When I was seven years old, he let me steer and navigate during our summer vacation.
