The pandemic accelerates Doconomy’s expansion. + 100 banks and corporations from around the world in partnership conversation to build back better.

At a rapid pace, the sense of responsibility and urge for transparency amongst the public as well as progressive banks are growing. Latest research indicates on an average, two-thirds of people believe that climate change can be reversed by our action and consumers wants to contribute to a healthier planet in their daily efforts as well as with directing their money to work for good.

In this new normal Doconomy has rapidly positioned Åland Index as the leading solution for CO2 emission calculations of consumption and financial transactions to help the world build back better. Doconomy is already providing a progressive group of banks in Denmark, Italy, Finland, Norway, Sweden and the U.S. the ability to engage their users in everyday climate action. 

“To meet the global interest in the existing Doconomy services, as well as our innovation pipeline, the annual general meeting appointed three new members of the board. We are thrilled to have Grace Francis, Erik Gutwasser and Carsten Kengeter aboard and excited to have their wisdom and experience at hand as Doconomy further accelerates the efforts to future proofing the planet. Led by Veronica Augustsson as the new Chairman we are well positioned to deliver on our ambitions, says Mathias Wikström, CEO Doconomy.

Mathias Wikström, has been appointed CEO replacing Nathalie Green that steps forward to focus specifically on pushing the DO mobile banking services further. In addition, Helena Mueller has been appointed Head of Åland Index Solutions, answering to the need of banks on global level to engage users with tools and metrics for positive impact and Johan Pihl will lead Doconomy’s purpose-driven service design offer as Head of Innovation.

Erik Gutwasser, Divisional President of Mastercard in the Nordics and Baltics the most innovative and advanced payment landscape in the world.

Carsten Kengeter, Private Investor.

Johan Pihl, founder and Head of Innovation at Doconomy with a focus on purpose-driven service design and product development.

Peter Wiklöf, CEO of Ålandsbanken and former Managing Director, Crosskey Banking Solutions.
