Doconomy and WWF in strategic partnership to inform, encourage and guide people towards a sustainable lifestyle

Swedish impact-tech startup Doconomy teams up with WWF Sweden to create and spread sciencebased, transparent, and easily accessible information and guidance to millions of people. The partnership rests upon the conviction that the only way to succeed is by working together towards a common goal. As Doconomy and WWF work together, they will collaborate to verify and guide the development of tools to influence consumers and create better ways to communicate and nudge people towards an updated, more sustainable lifestyle.

Along with their deep experience of influencing different sectors in society to move towards more sustainable ways, WWF will boost the partnership with their expertise regarding matters of climate and environment. Doconomy contributes by providing data from impact calculations from millions of users, using company’s different financial services.

“As a consumer it can be challenging to understand one's individual carbon footprint and how it can be reduced. With the Doconomy partnership we aim to change that. The ambition is to help millions of people to start their transition, initially in Sweden and eventually in the rest of the world” says Erika Sundell, Deputy Director Finance and Corporate Engagement at WWF Sweden.

The partnership will initially focus on the climate impact from products and services with the ambition to add additional areas such as water and biodiversity.
