Cuviva wins tender in Region Dalarna for self-monitoring
Cuviva is proud to announce that we have won the tender in the entire Swedish Region Dalarna to deliver self-monitoring solutions. This is a significant step in our endeavour to contribute to the improvement of care. While patients are given the opportunity to take an active role in their own health, the care also becomes more proactive through increased continuous information about the patients' health status.
Through this procurement, Region Dalarna will implement advanced technology from Cuviva to support self-monitoring of patients with complex care needs. Cuviva's solution is designed to give both patients and healthcare professionals the tools they need to be able to monitor health parameters in near real time and have ongoing communication, enabling faster interventions and more individualized care.

Region Dalarna will start with self-monitoring for patients with multimorbidity, patients with several simultaneous chronic diseases. These patients often have the most extensive care needs, which is why it is important to start with multi-diseases in terms of prioritization.
Anette Gerlström, deputy operations manager of the primary care district Västerbergslagen in Region Dalarna, comments: "Giving multi-disease patients the opportunity to monitor their own health with the support of self-monitoring, while our care providers can monitor these values remotely, is an important step in modernizing and making care more efficient. Through this investment, we can give patients more control and at the same time create the conditions for safer and more individually tailored care."
The agreement with Region Dalarna means that the implementation will begin immediately, and we look forward to developing the care of the future together.
