CMS Wistrand, with Christian Bergqvist appointed as bankruptcy trustee, to oversee the liquidation of Kvalitena AB
Following the recent appointment in the Serneke Sverige AB bankruptcy, CMS Wistrand -supported by our top-ranked insolvency team - has once again been entrusted with handling a significant liquidation.
On April 8, the Stockholm District Court declared, the Swedish company Kvalitena AB bankrupt after the company's restructuring plan was deemed unlikely to succeed. With debts of over SEK 1 billion and assets in Sweden, in other European jurisdictions and in the US, it is a comprehensive case that requires both legal and business expertise. CMS Wistrand, with Christian Bergqvist as the appointed bankruptcy trustee, has been entrusted to oversee the liquidation. The process will be led by our experienced insolvency team, working in close collaboration with our lawyers from our other practices, including M&A and Real Estate as well as our international colleagues.
