This year marks the sixth edition of the Children’s Climate Prize, one of the world’s biggest international climate awards for young innovators, entrepreneurs, conservators and changemakers. Tune in Friday November 19 at 10am CET!

Meet the winner and finalists of 2021

Lesein Mutunkei, 17, from Nairobi, Kenya who is tackling climate change through soccer. Fernanda Barros, 16, from Brazil who is working with climate and social justice in Amazonas. Anjali Sharma, 17, from Australia who has made history in a class action lawsuit against Sussan Ley, the country’s Minister for the Environment and Yash Narayan, 17, from USA who is using technology for better and more precise waste classification.

And last but not least, the winner of the Children’s Climate Prize; 15-year-old Reshma Kosaraju from California, USA who is using AI technology to predict forest fires.

Due to the (global) uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, this year’s Children’s Climate Prize is a digital event, which also allows for anyone and everyone to be a part of it, no matter where you are located!
