No Limit Street Art receives "Remarkable Festival"-label
No Limit has been selected to receive the EFFE "Remarkable Festival" Label. An international jury approved the label and after that the festival has gone through a successful evaluation by EFFE Hub experts on national level.
EFFE, which stands for Europe for Festivals - Festivals for Europe gives the label ”Remarkable Festival” to festivals fulfilling the following criteria artistic commitment, community involvement and a festival’s international and global outlook.
No Limit Street Art Borås will officially receive the label at the EFFE MeetUp in Wiesbaden on May 4th. The feedback from the International jury and hub experts as follows; ”Street-art festival with international participation gradually turning the city of Borås into an outdoor exhibition. High artistic quality and good community involvement.”
- We´re both happy and proud to receive the EFFE label. It feels like yet another confirmation that we´re doing the right things. The label it self means a lot of course, but it´s also an important network for exchange of experience with other festivals as well as a good channel for marketing of Borås and No Limit, says Stina Hallhagen, project manager.
No Limit is an outdoor art event inviting artists from around the world to participate in turning the public space into an outdoor gallery. The event is about all kinds of street art, from large scale murals to street art sculptures and installations. No Limit first saw the world in September 2014, 2015 we did it again and now the festival have become a biennial event. A warm welcome to Borås, Sweden 3-10th of September 2017.

No Limit Street Art erhåller europeiskt kvalitetsmärke för festivaler
No Limit har erhållit det europeiska kvalitetsmärket ”EFFE”. En internationell jury tillstyrkte märkningen och efter det har festivalen genomgått ytterligare en utvärdering av experter på det nationella planet.
EFFE (Europe for Festivals - Festivals for Europe) ger märket ”Anmärkningsvärd festival” till festival som uppfyller kriterierna - konstnärligt engagemang, samhällsengagemang och festivalens internationella och globala framtidsutsikter.
No Limit Street Art Borås erhåller officiellt utmärkelsen vid EFFEs möte i Wiesbaden den 4 maj. Återkopplingen från den internationella juryn och de nationella experterna lyder som följer; ”En street-art festival med internationellt deltagande som gradvis förvandlar staden till utomhusutställning. Hög konstnärlig kvalitet och starkt samhällsengagemang.”
- Vi är både glada och stolta över kvalitetsmärket. Det känns som ytterligare ett kvitto på att vi gör bra saker. Märkningen i sig betyder så klart en hel del, men att ingå i EFFE öppnar också ett viktigt nätverk för erfarenhetsutbyte med andra festivaler och erbjuder också ytterligare en bra kanal för att visa upp Borås och No Limit för världen, säger Stina Hallhagen, projektledare.
No Limit är en street art festival som bjuder in konstnärer från hela världen att delta i förvandlingen av det offentliga rummet och skapa ett gigantiskt utomhusgalleri. Festivalen innehåller alla typer av gatukonst, från muralmålningar till skulpturer och installationer. No Limit såg dagens ljus första gången i september 2014, 2015 gjorde vi det igen och nu har festivalen blivit ett biennalevenemang. Varmt välkommen till Borås 3-10 september 2017.
