Forankra Group Acquires J2SERVID to Expand European Industry Presence
Forankra Group, part of Axel Johnson International within the Transport Solutions business group, has announced the strategic acquisition of J2Servid S.L. (J2S), a leading Spanish provider of one-way-securing (OWS) products for the transportation and industry sector. This acquisition positions Forankra as the second largest player in the OWS market in Spain, providing significant opportunities for growth and synergies.
J2S is a prominent player in the container cargo securing market in Spain, both J2S and Forankra Spain are located in Barcelona, and J2S will relocate its stock and outsource warehouse operations to Forankra Spain's facilities post-acquisition. The merge is particularly advantageous as it aligns with the growing trend of nearshoring, where European companies are shifting production back to Europe. J2S's strong product offerings and sustainable solutions are well-poised to meet the needs of this expanding market segment. The acquisition also aligns with Forankra's strategic focus on international key accounts and the development of sustainable product solutions.

Furthermore, J2S's expertise in digital catalogues and product knowledge will benefit the entire Forankra Group.
