Axel Johnson International acquires HBA Fordonsteknik AB

Axel Johnson International’s business group Transport Solutions acquires HBA Fordonsteknik AB, a Swedish a reseller of electric components and lights to vehicles.

“The acquisition of HBA Fordonsteknik is part of our strategy of market expansion and to extend the group’s private label offering in lights. HBA is a well-run and profitable company that fits well into the group, and we see possibilities for synergies in many different areas,” says Erik Eklöv, Managing Director, Transport Solutions.

HBA Fordonsteknik AB was founded in 1988 and is situated in Norsborg, outside of Stockholm, Sweden. The company is a reseller of electric components and lights to vehicles and their customers are OEM, body builders, importers and aftermarket in Scandinavia and the Baltics.
