Working with academia

Most of the research behind Neoss’ products has been carried out in close collaboration with prominent researchers at Gothenburg University, and the Department of Biomaterials in particular.

Thanks to the experts at the Department of Biomaterials, Neoss has gained insight into the ever-changing field of biomaterials, understanding how to apply new methods to solve old problems. In return, Neoss has provided Gothenburg with one of the world's leading dental implant systems, based on Intelligent Simplicity.

“Interestingly, working with simpler solutions that still cover all needs when it comes to dental implants, often yields better results. Clinical trials have indicated that our platform is safer and better to use in many cases, as it is easier for dental surgeons to learn and to apply to any patient need”, says Ulrika Petersson.

Is there anything left to develop?

The track record is impressive. Over ten years of research and clinical trials show that the Neoss way, so to speak, is the best way. A relevant question here; is there anything that needs to be developed further? Neoss has already cracked the code?
