At last arriving to Sweden and Denmark!

The Spanish brand MAMATAYOE is at last being made available to retailers in Sweden and Denmark through the agency Alfombra Roja, Stockholm. This brand of colorful and original clothes for girls and women is not only different in its approach to sizes and custom fittings that are adjusted to fit everyone. Mamatayoe is also a family run business that is putting a lot of energy into creating eco-conscious clothes produced under dignified and fair conditions, mostly in Portugal.  The brand is already available not only in Spain, Portugal, France and Italy but also in countries such as Japan, Ireland, Belgium, Holland and Lebanon. Each year Mamatayoe is presented at for example the Pure London, Prèt a Porter in Paris, the Fémina in Athens, the Big Sight Fashion in Tokyo and of course at La Semana Internacional de la Moda in Madrid.

Mamatayoe represent a line of wear that is very different from both the big Spanish brands such as Mango and Zara but also from the Swedish H & M. Each year´s collection is inspired by the stories of six friends and the stories that grow around them; where they live, their travels, their life and their experiences. This makes Lupe, Lola, Ginger and the other girls the customers personal friends and even though the inspiration from the world of flowers, perfumes, the sixties always are present you will probably see yourself more as a Saran, an  Indi or a Aki.

Ginger, for example, is a redhead who this year is mostly dressed in black. Her wardrobe includes a pair of black, wide cotton pants, Mimolo, with colorful leaf and berry applications in greens and yellows on the lower right leg that make the pants unique. The blond Lola´s wardrobe includes white tops with lots of flowers, a beautiful yellow three-button vest with and printed impressions of nature and a blue skirt with embroidered flowers.

Seeing the whole Mamatayoe collection is to see colors, flowers and nature sometimes with an oriental inspiration that will bring a smile not only to the wearer but also to her surroundings. They can be worn by young girls or mature ladies of all sizes and are maybe not something to wear at a formal dinner, instead bringing color and life to everyday life that without the happy approach of Mamatayoe easily becomes very drab and boring. The summer streets of Stockholm, Copenhagen, Gävle and Aarhus will be filled with smiles as young and mature women start identifying themselves with Lupe, Indi or Aki and dress themselves with a smile and colorful flowers. And don´t forget that Mamatayoe are made to fit and made to last.
