Wind, water, sunshine: the new magical creatures from schleich® BAYALA®

It’s pouring with rain, and all the family are cosy indoors. In the playroom, the Rainbow Love Unicorn Mare is watching the rain from the window sill. Always the optimist, she is patiently waiting for the sun to paint the sky with a beautiful rainbow – her favourite natural spectacle. She is so deep in thought that she doesn’t even notice the three new unicorns who have made their way into the room. Will the Unicorn Family announce their presence? As well as the three new unicorns available from January, collectors can look forward to even more Collectible Unicorns in March and another set of baby characters in July: the Hatching Mushrooms. The Magical Buck and Magical Peacock will be enchanting playrooms all over the country from July and September, respectively.

Finally, the raindrops subside, and a few rays of sunshine break through the grey clouds. Wow, the Rainbow Love Unicorn Mare whispers. Beautiful! Suddenly, she hears the sound of hooves and turns around. There’s a stunning Unicorn Family standing right under the window sill! Huh, the Rainbow Love Unicorn Mare exclaims. Are you new here?

Three new faces in BAYALA®
The Flowy Unicorn Mare smiles politely as she introduces herself and her family. Her blue tail resembles a roaring waterfall, and her magnificently glittery mane elegantly spills over her snow-white coat. Next to her, the Apollo Unicorn Stallion shines nearly as bright as the sun. His golden-brown fur and golden crest are truly impressive. The little Stormy Unicorn Foal looks like wind personified with her large, light blue wings, glittering mane and turquoise tail. And she lives up to the look: her personality is a breath of fresh air! It’s so lovely to have you here, says the Rainbow Love Unicorn Mare. Come on, let me show you our magical world. She leaps off the window sill.

A trip around the playroom
The family follows her eagerly, admiring all the friendly and glittery creatures they meet along the way. Shh! Look over there, whispers the Mare, pointing her horn at the pink bean bag next to the bed. A Magical Buck is climbing the bag – he will launch in July. His green antlers are covered with roses, and a beautiful mandala adorns his face. With his light pink coat, he blends into the background as he observes the playroom from above. Suddenly, something casts a shadow onto the ground. The four unicorns look up and gasp. A Magical Peacock, available from September, flies over them. His colourful feathers are truly unique, and his moving wings let him circle above the playroom again and again. Thanks to a magnet on his back, he can even give the BAYALA® fairies a lift – a peacock taxi, giggles the Stormy Unicorn Foal.

Magical collectibles
Impressed with the two magical creatures, the unicorns continue their journey. In the distance, they spot a collection of little mushrooms under the bunk bed. But they’re no button mushrooms or chanterelles, notes the Stormy Unicorn Foal, who’s an expert on edible mushrooms. One of the baby mushrooms makes a shocked face. We’re the new Hatching Mushrooms set, he calls out. The twelve adorable baby mushrooms are all unique, and collectors will be able to purchase them in blind bags from March. In July, the Collectible Unicorns will be ready for new adventures in the world of BAYALA®. Each of the seven unicorns represents a planet. What stories of the universe will they be sharing?

Done exploring, the four unicorns head back to the window sill. The Rainbow Love Unicorn Mare is convinced that a lovely sight awaits them there. And she is right: the rain has stopped, and a bright rainbow illuminates the sky. Enchanted by the glorious view, the Unicorn Family has no doubt that they will love their new home.
