Painted eggs and Easter grass: schleich® gifts for your Easter nest
The little Lionhead Rabbit blinks sleepily at the first rays of the sun. His fluffy ears twitch with excitement as he hops towards the other animals in the toy box. Come on! Let‘s get out of this box, he encourages his friends, gently prodding each with his nose. It's Easter! This year, the Lionhead Rabbit wasn’t given the job of Easter Bunny, so he gets to help the children with their egg hunt. What do you think they‘ll find? Small sets, Blind Bags and brand new schleich® characters make perfect treats for little egg hunters at Easter.
Munich, 5 February 2024 – A good start, thinks the Lionhead Rabbit happily. He joyfully hops along the trail of colourful chocolate eggs criss-crossing the playroom towards the hallway. Red, green, blue – huh? What's over there on the bannister? That's not an egg! The cobalt blue Hyacinth Macaw likes to climb all sorts of things using his powerful claws. Why doesn’t he just fly up with his big wings? The Lionhead Rabbit calls out to him: are you joining our egg hunt?
Cawing and clucking from the kitchen
The trail of chocolate eggs leads the two to the kitchen. It‘s buzzing with activity as mum and dad prepare a big Easter breakfast. And there’s more going on: clucking and a loud cock-a-doodle-do! The Lionhead Rabbit perks up his ears. What’s that Mobile Chicken Coop doing behind the big shopping basket? Several chickens and a little chick, all contained in the set, are jumping around excitedly. You won’t stay hidden for long at this rate, giggles the rabbit. He keeps hopping towards the hallway. The Hyacinth Macaw has already discovered the next surprise here: a colourful Dog Kennel behind the umbrella stand. Unlike the chickens, the Australian Shepherd and her puppy are still sleepy and quiet as mice. The two sets will be available at Easter as a 2-in-1 FARM WORLD Set.
Exotic Easter eggs
This way! calls the Hyacinth Macaw from above. He flies straight towards an Easter nest full of big, yellow eggs. When he lands, his eyes widen: oops! That’s not a pile of eggs at all. It‘s a brightly patterned, black-and-yellow Fire Salamander! She has made herself comfortable beside the Hawksbill Sea Turtle, whose reddish-brown carapace disguises her well among the Easter eggs.
Magical gifts
One, two, three – the egg trail leads to the cabinet in the dining room. What could possibly be hidden here, wonders the Lionhead Rabbit as he makes himself as tall as he can. The Hyacinth Macaw has a great view from above. Between plates, cups and glasses, he spots three truly extraordinary creatures: the Flowy Unicorn Mare, the Apollo Unicorn Stallion and their Stormy Unicorn Foal, all with dazzlingly vivid colours and sparkly details. Do you think the children will find the magical beings, too?
New arrivals to the paddock
The next surprise is mine to find! Eagerly, the Lionhead Rabbit bounds through the open terrace door into the garden. A neighing behind the first daffodils gives away the next hiding place. The Lionhead Rabbit peeks behind the yellow flowers and spots a Paddock with Entry Gate. An Icelandic Pony Mare and her newborn foal are enjoying the fresh air and tasty grass. Hannah‘s First Aid Kit is on hand to make sure that the newborn is well. Hannah is hoping to be a vet when she grows up – just like her mum. After a quick examination with her stethoscope, she gently pats the two horses and gives them a juicy apple. Horse enthusiasts can look forward to these two sets as a 2-in-1 HORSE CLUB Set at Easter.
Very special surprises
What’s that rustling under the bench? The Hyacinth Macaw doesn’t skip a beat. He catches the Lionhead Rabbit rummaging through a whole pile of little bags. Look at this! the rabbit calls out, appalled. You can’t even see what’s inside! schleich® Blind Bags are very special surprises for your Easter nest. The four HORSE CLUB Blind Bags each contain one person, one horse and various accessories. The three FARM WORLD Blind Bags surprise the children with one person and two or three animals. But they won’t know what’s inside until they open them.
Looks like you’ll have to be patient, giggles the Hyacinth Macaw. The Lionhead Rabbit shoots him a glare. Not long now: children’s voices fill the house as the egg hunt commences. Do you think they will find all their schleich® Easter surprises?
