Mysterious treasure and adventurous discoveries in the land of schleich® DINOSAURS
The Quetzalcoatlus glides through the playroom. Ever since last night, he’s had a hunch that there may be new prehistorical creatures around. He’s meeting the Pteranodon, and the two friends are planning to survey the area from above. Do you think they’ll spot their new roommates? Dinosaur fans can look forward to six new species from January. Two sets – Dino Temple Conquest Mega Set and the Dino Temple Conquest – will bring plenty of action to the playroom in July and September.
Are you ready? The Quetzalcoatlus turns to the Pteranodon. Absolutely! The two take off. From the air, they have great views over everything, from the tall bookcase to the wardrobe and the bunk bed. Still engrossed in their little air show, they don’t notice that something is moving around the floor. But the sound of heavy steps soon gives away the presence of a dinosaur under the desk.
Three familiar faces
The two friends are astonished to spot an Allosaurus. Thanks to his patterned lizard skin, the redesigned giant blends perfectly into the background. He is standing upright, his flashing yellow eyes searching for food. He looks frightening! Suddenly, a flash of red from behind the curtain. A long neck slowly pokes out, and finally, the whole Brachiosaurus emerges from his hideaway. His new colour scheme, covering his entire neck from the head to the tail, is meant to scare off enemies. Don’t worry, says the Quetzalcoatlus. He’s a vegetarian, he won’t harm us. Behind the toy box, the two spot another herbivore. With two rows of bright red, kite-shaped bone plates on his back, Stegosaurusis immediately recognisable. His eyes search the room. Are there any vegetable sticks left? The three dinosaurs will launch in January as a new edition, bringing even more fun with their realistic colours.
A dangerous addition
Another herbivore meanders into the room: it’s a Bajadasaurus. The spikes on his cervical spine look pretty threatening, whispers the Pteranodon. I’m not going to land there! Look over there, calls the Quetzalcoatlus. A little dinosaur sprints through the room, looking for prey. The Moros Intrepidus may be smaller than his fellow prehistoric creatures, but he makes up for it with speed. He seems to have an eye on the Concavenator. But he’s not convinced: the greenish-yellow lizard skin and the fire-red hump on his back look poisonous. Is this going to end well?
A thrilling conquest
Huh, what’s that? The Pteranodon squints into the distance. All of a sudden, a large Dino Temple has emerged out of thin air amidst all the other toys. Mysterious, murmurs the Quetzalcoatlus. I wonder what’s going on there. All the dinosaurs rush to the scene, keen to explore the new Dino Temple Conquest Mega Set, which will hit the shelves in September. Its modular structure makes the conquest especially exciting: stairs turn into slides, trap doors or shaky steps, posing ever new challenges to the intrepid adventurers. The two dinosaurs contained in the set, Postosuchus and Monolophosaurus, sneak under the bridge and glimpse into the temple. Do you think there’s treasure inside? Of course, Dinosaur Researcher Flynn won’t miss out on the action. Armed with many accessories, he sets out to find all the secret hideouts. The two friends watch the conquest from above with bated breath. Who do you think will find the temple key first?
The Dino Temple Conquest set, launching in July, gives dinosaur fans a more compact version of the temple but just as much excitement and fun.
Quetzalcoatlus has placed his bet: Postosuchus is going to conquer the temple! No chance, replies his friend. It’s going to be Monolophosaurus. Who do you think will be right? And will they see the mysterious treasure with their own eyes?
