In warm remembrance of Chief Virgil Thomas

Today we took some time off at the Plantagon head office to remember and talk about a fine, warm and greatly missed friend - the late Chief Virgil Thomas - Board Member and co-founder of Plantagon International. Our thoughts go to Chief Thomas' family and to the Onondaga Nation that lost one of its greatest leaders.

Chief Virgil E. Thomas, Sr., 73, chief of the Onondaga Turtle Clan, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at his home. He was a retired Ironworker for Local #60 and was manager of the Onondaga Nation Smoke shop. He was a race car driver in Weedsport and Fulton driving car #36 and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was the brother of the late Cedric, Theodore, and Ludwig Thomas and Jennifer Jacobs and the son of the late Theodore and Susan Thomas.

Chief Virgil Thomas was co-founder and member of the board of Plantagon International since 2008.
