PEMA Announces 7th ANNUAL STUDENT CHALLENGE theme question
The PEMA Student Challenge
The PEMA Student Challenge is the only competition of its kind within the Ports and Terminals industry and is open to university students globally. Each year the question focuses on a topical theme of the industry and challenges teams to come up with an implementable solution to the Student Challenge question. In the first stage of the competition, teams are invited to submit a 2-page (A4) preliminary abstract, outlining their solution. The top three abstracts are selected by a panel of industry judges and the three qualifying teams are invited to present their full solution at the live Student Challenge final at TOC Europe in Rotterdam, 20 June.
How To Enter

Next Steps
Teams should submit their 2-page (A4), preliminary abstract of their proposed solution to petar.karaivanov@pema.org before the deadline 10 May, 17:00 CET.
The three finalist teams will be notified on 17 May and will be provided with a full brief for their final presentation.
The Prize
The three finalist teams are invited to present at TOC Europe 20 June 2019 and are invited to a finalists’ dinner hosted by PEMA. The team that has performed best according to the jury will receive a prize of €1000 (shared between team mates), plus certificates for the winning team and runners-up. There will also be publicity via PEMA and TOC websites and social media channels, plus other media coverage.
