Banedanmark awards NNIT new full-service contract for their administrative IT systems
NNIT will be responsible for the operation, service and support of Banedanmark’s administrative IT systems and applications, including service desk and onsite support.
The contract will take effect on February 11, 2022 and runs for five years with the possibility of extending for another two years. The contract is worth a low three-digit DKK million amount.

Infrastructure services, Microsoft 365, SAP and service integration
Upon the successful and smooth transition of services from the existing supplier, NNIT will be supplying the full stack of infrastructure services as well as running the operations and support of Microsoft 365, Microsoft BizTalk, various other business applications and SAP Basis, including service desk, desktop management, end-user support services and onsite support. Finally, NNIT will be supplying integration services and cooperating with third party vendors.
About Banedanmark
Banedanmark creates the foundation for the everyday railroad transport of hundreds of thousands of passengers and thousands of tons of goods in Denmark. They are an entity under the Danish Ministry of Transportation and have more than 2,500 employees. Currently, they are building a new green railroad for modern electric trains while keeping the old railroad going. That is, they are maintaining and upgrading existing rails while building a new train corridor to Europe, rolling out new signals and making the transition to electrically powered trains.
