Press release -

FMV and Nexer Tech Talent start trainee programs in information security

There is a shortage of skills in Sweden, and according to the competence report published by IT&Telekomföretagen, there is a shortage of 70,000 IT-skilled people by 2024. Several companies testify to difficulties in recruiting, especially for important tech areas. Digitisation is the biggest game-changer of our time, and competence in information security is crucial.

To secure the competence of the future, FMV has given Nexer Tech Talent the confidence to develop a trainee program with a focus on information security. During the program, the talents will be able to work in different business areas with associated projects. The work is interspersed with training led by Nexer Group's specialists, various social activities and a mentorship program.

"We are extremely proud of this trust and of the opportunity to run FMV's new trainee program. The participants in the program will receive all the support needed to succeed in their respective roles. If you are interested in a career in information security, this is a very exciting opportunity," says Johan Ward, COO of Nexer Tech Talent.

The program extends over 12 months, starting in September 2021. After completing the program, participants are offered a continued career in FMV.
