NCC Group hosts UK’s Lord Mayor of London on virtual tour

As part of a FinTech-focused virtual tour of the North West of England to strengthen ties with the region, the Rt Hon Lord Mayor of London, William Russell, visited NCC Group’s Manchester office on 26 October.

Hosted by Adrian Ah-Chin-Kow, managing director of UK software resilience, Jamie Mackay, head of product innovation and solution architecture, Kat Sommer, head of public affairs, and Wayne Scott, senior partner manager at NCC Group, the Lord Mayor’s team discussed how Covid-19 has magnified the importance of resilience, and what this means for the future of the fintech industry and beyond.

This follows a visit to the Manchester office last year, where the Lord Mayor, as an ambassador for the financial and professional services industry, met with NCC Group to discuss the company’s evolution and responses to the security issues facing a wide range of sectors.

Adrian Ah-Chin-Kow, managing director of UK software resilience, said: “We were pleased to welcome the Lord Mayor back – albeit under very different circumstances. With cloud and digital transformation now dominating the agenda for many businesses, we had an incredibly productive discussion about the shifting business landscape and what this means for the future.

“We look forward to strengthening this relationship even further going forward, and working with the Lord Mayor’s Team and the City of London to promote resilience on a regional, national and global level.”
