Press release -

Monterro hosts 4th Nordic Software Summit with 1,500 software founders and executives in Stockholm.

On Tuesday, August 20th, Monterro, the leading Nordic B2B software growth investor, hosts its fourth Nordic Software Summit, bringing together 1,500 founders and executives from Nordic B2B software companies at the Waterfront Congress Centre in Stockholm. The event will focus on inspiration, learning, and networking, with a theme centered on building sustainable business growth.

The summit will feature international keynote speakers and practical "how-to" sessions on topics such as sales strategies, AI implementation, market trends, internationalization, leadership, ESG, growth, and more.

“We’ll discuss building long-lasting, profitable, and responsible businesses—companies that can thrive over time,” says Gustav Lagercrantz, CEO of Monterro. “This is crucial for many reasons: financial health, agility, adaptation, and innovation, to name a few. Sustainable companies can adapt to changing market conditions, continue growing even in challenging times, and embrace new technologies. Additionally, fostering a healthy work environment leads to happier, more productive employees. Sustainable growth also aligns with environmental and social responsibility. In essence, sustainable companies are better positioned to outperform competitors,” Gustav continues.

Keynote speakers include Bob Moesta, the mind behind the Jobs-To-Be-Done methodology; April Dunford, an expert in positioning and sales pitches; and Thimon de Jong, a behavioral and leadership expert, amongst others.

In addition, Monterro will launch its first-ever Nordic AI Hackathon, where over 100 software engineers will compete to build an AI-supported scheduling app in record time. This event is organized in collaboration with Cillers, a company renowned for hosting fun and transformative hackathons. The winning team will receive a trip to Stanford AI Labs and Robotics Center.

Beyond the structured sessions, networking with industry peers remains a highly valued aspect of the Nordic Software Summit.

The Nordic Software Summit is an invitation-only event that has been fully booked every year, with a long waiting list, underscoring the event's relevance and importance in the industry.

The event is organized in partnership with EY Technology Investment Banking, Carnegie, Nasdaq, Setterwalls, Implement Consulting Group, Haavind, Younium, Planhat.
