A lens for both targeted and mood lighting

The elegant ORYO 200 spotlight range is upgraded by state-of-the-art lens technology. Lens 6 creates an extremely narrow light beam of 6 degrees and completes the ORYO 200 portfolio with a real accent light. From the first idea to the finished product, the lens has been developed exclusively by LTS and is produced on the LTS premises in Tettnang using sophisticated machining technology, as Research and Development Engineer Erich Köpplin reports.

Lens 6 is particularly suited for mood lighting in the retail and hospitality industry. The innovative lens made by LTS allows to attract maximum attention and, at the same time, provide suspense by setting precise highlights.

This premium product has been exclusively developed in Tettnang near Lake Constance and every single ORYO luminaire is produced at the LTS home base and assembled in Upper Swabia – an advantage for both consumers and the environment. Erich Köpplin, who belongs to the Research and Development team, clearly explains the benefits of Lens 6.

With Lens 6 and its 6-degree beam angle, ORYO 200 offers the perfect addition to the 15-degree, 25-degree and 45-degree beam angles. Given the wide range of recessed, pendant or track-mounted luminaire variants, it is easy to accentuate different areas and optimally create various lighting moods.

In addition to the narrow-beam 6-degree spot, the uniform and elegant tapered shape of the ORYO spotlight family catches the eye. Its minimalistic and unobtrusive design easily integrates into existing interior spaces and beautifully highlights products and other objects that want to be seen. ORYO’s premium design is completed by efficient output and an extremely good light pattern.

Lens 6 scores all along the line in retail

Lens 6 directs the light exactly where it is needed with a light density that is higher than that of the ambient brightness. The innovative lens guides and directs the eye to the illuminated object; contours and outlines of the product are ideally presented. The surfaces and structures show off their full dimensions, the colours of the object shine bright and appear rich. Despite a flexible distance, Lens 6 allows for a precise light beam.

For a great atmosphere in hospitality

Targeted highlights allow to create diverse spaces and atmospheres, from exclusive and inviting to atmospheric and intimate. Cautiously selected contrasts create pools of light to define seating areas and emphasize important intuitive orientation points in a room. The Lens 6 accent lighting can be used to easily highlight furniture, pictures or sculptures as well as reception desks or elevator doors.
