MILA

LIGHT OF TOMORROW
FOR THE OFFICE OF TODAY

Mila, the new office Mila luminaire by LTS Licht & Leuchten GmbH
Excellent glare control (UGR<19) combined with highest efficiency of over 150 lm/watt give the luminaire a competitive edge.

With the Mila workplace luminaire, LTS Licht & Leuchten has launched a product in the market which is impressive with its clear shape and timeless design. As a stylistically straight and clean light element, this pendant or surface-mounted luminaire meets all kinds of workplace requirements and is a visually appealing solution for any office. LTS specifically engineered and developed Mila for the office market at their headquarters in Tettnang in the Lake Constance region where they also produce it. The office luminaire has a micro-prismatic cover whose acrylic glass, micro-pyramid structures provide for even, symmetrical light distribution and optimally refracted light.

Maximum and sustainable lighting quality for state-of-the-art office buildings and workplaces

Good light is essential in the modern working world, where focus is on the people: It considerably contributes to spatial quality, improves concentration and supports dialogue. Mila, the LTS workplace luminaire, meets all these requirements and comes in a cutting-edge design. Be it focused individual work at the PC workplace, informal conversations in a seating corner or team meetings in a conference room: Mila fits into every working situation. The micro-prismatic cover produces the perfect working light and ensures excellent illumination of faces without glare, which makes it ideal for online meetings and other situations that require high standards regarding visual communication.

The pendant variant of the office all-rounder is also available as a direct/indirect luminaire. For this version, the Upper Swabian luminaire manufacturer uses a sustainable recent development. The cover of the indirect light component is made of 100% recycled plastic. LTS is continuously researching the development of innovative sustainable materials and components – another step the LTS R&D department has taken towards a more sustainable future. Sascha Fliegener, designer and co-developer of Mila, strives for the luminaire’s full recyclability. He loves the successful combination of design and performance:

“Mila is our new all-rounder for the office market. We have made sure to have the fewest possible components and use sustainable materials at the same time for the luminaire’s design. For the first time, we have also used a cover made of fully recycled plastic. The discreet and simple linear shape of the luminaire harmoniously blends in with all architectural backgrounds and fulfils any requirement.”

Mila is the alternative for those who want to equip their office with a stylish sustainable luminaire, with attractive price-performance ratio.

Flexible and sustainable planning

New approaches to modern working worlds have replaced traditional office spaces. This has also had an impact on design expectations. Entire office layouts have to be re-thought, including light. In turn, this means that different workplace set-ups and luminaires are needed that can be easily adapted if new teams arrive. Mila, the newly developed luminaire from LTS Licht & Leuchten GmbH, responds to this trend perfectly. It can be flexibly adapted to all kinds of modern workplaces and restructured office spaces.

The 1500mm long luminaire is so variable because it can be modularly connected in line. The end caps are simply replaced by connecting elements to create a lighting strip that can be customized according to the length of the room. The height of the luminaire is also variable due to height-adjustable Y-shaped wire ropes. Mila‘s exclusive extruded aluminium profile is available in black, white and silver. Its versatility is complemented by the standard DALI ballast. The lighting situation can be flexibly adapted by individual dimming. Flexibility is part of LTS’s light DNA for the latest office trends.

Designed for the future

State-of-the-art office buildings require state-of-the-art, sustainable lighting solutions. Increased energy efficiency and reduced energy consumption play a major role in this context and are part and parcel of research work at LTS. Mila’s low energy consumption, its excellent efficiency of more than 150 lm/watt and its long service life reduce both operating costs and CO2 emissions. Another way to further cut energy consumption is to optionally equip all luminaires with Organic Response. Organic Response combines lighting, control, emergency simulation and use of space all within one system facilitating great energy savings.

Mila is an interesting alternative for everybody who wants to equip their office with a stylish, sustainable luminaire that fulfils all potential requirements and comes with an attractive price-performance ratio. Everything in the trusted “made in Germany” LTS quality.
