LTS Licht & Leuchten GmbH signs Charta der Vielfalt

In February 2022, LTS Licht & Leuchten GmbH, the luminaire manufacturer located in Tettnang near Lake Constance, signed the Charta der Vielfalt (Charter of Diversity) setting an example for diversity and tolerance.

By signing the Charta der Vielfalt LTS wants to illustrate that the company has set out to create a working environment which is free of prejudice and bias. The company signalizes that it acknowledges all employees irrespective of their age, ethnic origin and nationality, sex and gender identity, physical and mental abilities, religion and world views, sexual orientation and social background.

Since 2010, LTS Licht & Leuchten GmbH has been a member of the Swedish Fagerhult Group, the third largest luminaire manufacturer in Europe. By signing the Charta der Vielfalt, the Swedish Managing Director wants to send a clear signal:

We have a large international network at our disposal which holds the most diverse potential. By recognizing and promoting such diverse potential we will be able to create an appreciative working environment and leverage the resulting economic benefits at the same time.

— Sofie Dahlberg, Managing Director LTS Licht & Leuchten GmbH

Diversity Management is cross-company topic based on the idea of creating an organizational culture where diversity is practiced naturally and where all employees can use their full potential. Diversity of people also boosts and stimulates the diversity of bright ideas and quality products which LTS is known for.

An increasing number of companies and organizations have come to understand the benefits diversity brings: More than 4,000 large companies, small- and medium-sized enterprises, public institutions, clubs, foundations and associations have signed the Charta der Vielfalt in the meantime – with approximately 14.2 million of employees benefitting from it. LTS is delighted to now be a part of the largest diversity network in Germany and to promote and shape diversity in a joint approach.
