LTS lights innovative M3ELF event lounge in Obermarchtal

The M3ELF event lounge in Obermarchtal is a fascinating part of the new adventure park located at the end of the Danube valley. The park offers a number of trend sports, such as adventure golf and curling and has already become popular as an event location. The lounge is used as a service building and event venue and is a prime example of modern and energy-efficient construction. Visitors love the M3ELF for its unique atmosphere, to which the lighting from LTS Licht & Leuchten GmbH contributes considerably. The LTS quality luminaires, all made in Germany, have been integrated by the architecture firm Rapp Architekten from Ulm and bring about an impressive overall solution.

LTS is proud that their first-class lighting solutions make an essential contribution to the successful realisation of this challenging architectural project. The good collaboration between the trades at the construction site is to be commended. A particular thanks goes to the electricians from Elektro Buck GmbH for the reliable planning, execution of work and the services provided in relation to electrical installations.

Complying with all architectural requirements regarding the lighting concept, LTS Licht & Leuchten GmbH from Tettnang provided custom-fit and stylish luminaires that stand out thanks to their excellent lighting quality and impressive service life. The carefully chosen LTs luminaires give each area its own lighting effect, which upgrades the overall impression. The high-quality lighting systems contribute significantly to optimally underlining the spaces’ atmosphere and functionality.

In the rooms inside and next to the lounge and around the canopy at the entrance, the following LTS products have been used:

• Jamie, track-mounted spotlight: The Jamie spotlight features a minimal installation size and efficient light with an excellent colour rendering index (CRI) of 90. The latest reflector technology provides exceptional lighting quality. Four light colours and three beam angles enable a wide range of applications in accent lighting. The spotlight can be rotated through 350 degrees, the lighting head swivelled through 90 degrees which allows for flexible light design. Furthermore, the aluminium housing ensures effective cooling and durability.
  
  
• FLIR, downlight: These elegant luminaires, which are also available with a swivelling lighting head, are suitable for a wide range of applications in accent and general lighting. The innovative heat management with passive cooling and the highly polished reflector provide uniform lighting without dark areas. The optional clip-on light effect frames and decorative glass covers allow for individual design. The tool-free installation in variable ceiling thickness make installation particularly efficient.
  
  
• Decoline, LED light strips with profiles: Decoline can create a high-quality lighting atmosphere within the smallest space. The linear light line adds exciting variety and highlights to the lighting concept. The narrow LED light strips are embedded in aluminium profiles and offer a wide range of design options given the large choice of diffuser covers. Decoline is ideal for all hospitality areas to create a feel-good atmosphere. The numerous profiles and covers enable the luminaires to be precisely adjusted and blend perfectly into the existing architectural features.
  
  
• Lichtkanal 60, light lines: Lichtkanal 60 is a real allrounder in the LTS Lichtkanal family. It is available as a recessed, mounted or suspended version and with various light inserts providing different power levels and colour temperatures. Given the narrow profile and the sophisticated acrylic glass diffusers, films or our patented nanoOptix, it is easy to fulfil all lighting requirements. Lichtkanal 60 also enables direct/indirect lighting and, when combining it with Lichtkanal Curved, it can direct light around corners, which makes lighting design particularly flexible.

The challenge and ultimate goal was to equip this outstanding project with excellent lighting technology and create a feel-good atmosphere that is both functional and aesthetically appealing. When this is combined with the highest sustainability and energy efficiency standards, it is pure bliss for both the operators and the visitors.

For the operators of the M3ELF lounge, LTS lighting not only brings a visual upgrade but also long-term efficiency. The chosen LED luminaires are state-of-the-art and offer maximum energy efficiency. They have a long service life which reduces the operating costs and minimises maintenance. For visitors, the M3ELF lounge is a place of adventure and relaxation at the same time where the lighting atmosphere has a huge role to play.

Focus on sustainability and efficiency

With its sustainable design and energy-efficient lighting, the M3ELF lounge is setting an example for ecological awareness. The entire building was constructed using only sustainable materials and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a PV system and air-source heat pumps. The LTS lighting blends seamlessly into this concept underlining the ecological focus of the event location. All LTS LED luminaires are energy-efficient and particularly durable which reduces operating costs. Using the latest lighting control systems, it is possible to control the luminaires as needed, which helps save additional energy and contributes to the excellent energy footprint of the entire building.
