Löfbergs appoints new MD in Finland – and aims for further growth in Eastern Europe

Rami Kuusisto becomes the new Managing Director of Löfbergs in Finland. On 1 September, he succeeds Kent Pettersson, who continues in the role of Chief Commercial Officer Market East at Löfbergs.

“We have had a spectacular development in Finland over the past ten years, and have laid a good foundation for continued growth. Rami’s task will be to take Löfbergs to the next level together with his colleagues, while creating better conditions to increase sales in Eastern Europe,” says Anders Fredriksson, CEO of Löfbergs.

Rami Kuusisto has a vast experience of leading positions and most recently held the role of CEO of Finnsweet Group. Before that, he worked in senior positions at Paulig for eight years, amongst others, as Commercial Director with responsibility for all commercial operations in Finland.

“I am excited to join Löfbergs, which is one of the largest family-owned coffee roasters in the Nordics with a high-quality offering, strong customer focus, and consistent engagement in sustainability. Löfbergs has an impressive legacy, and I am honoured to be trusted to work with my new colleagues to take the company’s success story further in Finland,” says Rami Kuusisto.

Growth potential
Löfbergs was founded 1906 in Karlstad, Sweden, and is one of the largest family-owned coffee roasters in the Nordics. In 1993, the company started exporting coffee, and today, every second cup is sold outside of Sweden.

“Finland and the Baltics have been important for our international growth, and we see a great potential in the neighbouring markets as well. Kent and his team have done a great job analysing our possibilities, and now, we allocate resources to reach our growth targets. Poland is one example, where we see a huge potential,” says Anders Fredriksson.

Löfbergs does not export coffee to Russia and Belarus.
