Leine Linde and HEIDENHAIN Corporate Group companies show cutting-edge solutions at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024
Leine Linde is excited to announce its participation at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024, the world’s biggest event for the wind power industry. We will be in Hall B6, Stand 303, together with AMO, ETEL, HEIDENHAIN and LTN, offering a wide range of state-of-the-art solutions designed to enhance the efficiency and reliability of wind turbines.
WindEnergy Hamburg in Germany is a global platform for wind industry professionals, gathering key stakeholders from across the globe to explore the latest technological innovations and discuss the future of renewable energy. This year, Leine Linde will present a range of cutting-edge products, demonstrating our commitment to empower renewable innovations with precision sensing and motion control.
At the forefront encoder innovation
Leine Linde has been a part of the wind power industry for over 20 years, with its technologies trusted in both onshore and offshore turbines worldwide through continuous innovation and close collaboration with our customers and partners.
“By maximising the efficiency and reliability of wind turbines with unique technologies, the HEIDENHAIN Corporate Group is driving the wind industry forward. One example is the expansion of our proven encoder technology with integrated analytics to optimise the control and monitoring of wind turbine drive trains,” says Matthias Finke, Senior Sales Manager Energy & Heavy Duty at HEIDENHAIN.
New innovations on display
HEIDENHAIN corporate group presents several new and advanced products, each tailored to meet the unique demands of modern wind energy applications:
- Leine Linde 800 Series with ADS Uptime: This series integrates advanced diagnostic features to monitor the condition of wind turbine drive trains, optimising generator performance and minimising downtime. A demonstration station at our booth will provide a hands-on experience of how this technology enhances operational efficiency.
- HEIDENHAIN ECI 123 Splus: Engineered for small to medium size motors, this series of product also includes advanced diagnostic features to monitor the connected drive trains. In the wind industry the pitch and yaw drive trains are of particular interest. As they provide an important function to control the turbine operation, the monitoring of these drive trains are getting crucial, as they are ensuring optimal alignment and performance. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore this technology at our demo station.
- AMO WMR/WMK Bearingless Encoder: Introduced at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024, this innovation is designed for use with both small and large shaft diameters on generators and main shafts. The encoder’s advanced design eliminates the need for bearings, significantly reducing maintenance requirements and extending the lifespan of critical components.
-
ETEL TMC High-Density Torque Motor: Released in April 2024, this motor is designed for pitch motors in innovative wind turbine designs, as well as for marine applications such as thrusters and positioning systems. It represents a significant advancement in torque density and reliability.
Welcome to visit us at Hall B6, Stand 303, where our team of experts will be ready to discuss how we together can power the future of wind energy!
