His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik visits ScanCom International
On 3 November ScanCom International welcomed His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark at the company’s offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The visit was part of the celebration of ScanCom receiving the ‘Crown Prince Frederik International Business Award’ in the category ‘Green Solutions’ in August 2021, as well as a recognition of ScanCom’s willingness and dedication to continue the sustainability journey with ‘Doing Business the Right Way’as the ever-guiding strategy and principle.
CEO of ScanCom International, Stig Maasbøl, who reived the award on behalf of the company in 2021, was honoured to host His Royal Highness alongside members of the board and top management at ScanCom, including Chairman, Erik Holm and the Danish Ambassador to Vietnam, Nicolai Prytz.
“It is always a great pleasure and tremendous honour to host such a distinguished guest at our facilities, and not often, as a person or company, that you get the opportunity to follow up on an award with a high-level visit to Vietnam,” Stig Maasbøl said.
During the visit, His Royal Highness received a short tour of ScanCom’s International Showroom and a presentation of the Stream Chair, a unique plastic shell chair crafted in Social Plastic®, which was rewarded with the prestigious Red Dot Award in 2022 in the category ‘Product Design’.
ScanCom International A/S, which is owned by Lars Larsen Group, has in recent years become one of the dominating actors in the global market for design, development, and responsible production of outdoor furniture.
