The library of the future is finally ready to open for the public of Oslo and all visitors to the Norwegian capital. Located between Oslo Central Station and the Oslo Opera House, Deichman Bjørvika is an extension of the 235 year history of the public library of Oslo.

Finally, Oslo gets its new main library. H.R.H Crown Prince Haakon to attend the opening. Deichman Bjørvika was originally due to open on March 28, but the COVID-19 situation made it impossible. Library Director Knut Skansen is now looking forward to finally allowing people into the new main public library.
