Press release -

Kommuninvest plans to issue new Green Bond

Kommuninvest intends to issue a 7-year fixed rate Green Bond in SEK.

For this transaction, SEB, Svenska Handelsbanken and Swedbank have been appointed lead banks. The transaction can, depending on market conditions, be expected towards the end of this week.

In this context, the auction in the Swedish Benchmark Programme planned for 18 November will be canceled.

Within Kommuninvest's Green Bonds Framework, local and regional investment projects are financed in eight categories: ranging from renewable energy and green buildings to climate change adaptation and clean transportation. To date, Kommuninvest has granted over SEK 70 billion in Green loans for 400 investment projects in 160 municipalities and regions.
