Kommuninvest issues USD 1 billion in new Green Bond

Kommuninvest today issued USD 1 billion in a new Green Bond which matures on 2024-06-19.

Following this green transaction, the 12th so far, Kommuninvest has a total of approximately USD 6 billion outstanding in seven Green Bonds - four of which are in SEK and three in USD.

Investor interest was strong. The order book included 62 international investors. The transaction was priced at 1 basis point above mid-swaps and 19 basis points above corresponding US Treasuries.

- We continue to meet strong demand in the USD market. Today, I was particularly pleased to see such a broad interest in a new Green Bond. Thanks to the impressive sustainability work carried out by Swedish municipalities and regions, where the growing portfolio now exceeds 430 green investment projects, we are continually taking important steps forward in the development of green finance, says Tobias Landström, Deputy Head of Debt Management at Kommuninvest.
