Press release -

Kommuninvest issues USD 1 billion in new benchmark bond

Kommuninvest today raised USD 1 billion in a new benchmark bond maturing on 22nd of October 2025. This was the fifth USD transaction of the year.

The order book included 61 investors and bids totalling more than USD 2.4 billion. The bond was priced at 39 basis points above mid-swaps and 23 basis points above corresponding US Treasuries.

For Kommuninvest, the USD market presents good terms and a pricing at approximately the same level as in the SEK market.

– Investor interest was once again strong. The USD market, with the large and diversified order books that we manage to attract, is very useful to us for the time being. Our focus is to secure as good terms as possible for the financing of the investments that municipalities and regions make in the Swedish welfare system, says Tobias Landström, Deputy Head of Debt Management at Kommuninvest.
