Kommuninvest issues SEK 4.5 billion in Green Bond

Kommuninvest today raised another SEK 4.5 billion (USD 0.43 billion) in a Green Bond. This was the second green transaction this year. The bond is denominated in SEK and matures on the 18th of June 2031.

The order book encompassed 21 investors, with a total interest of more than SEK 4.7 billion. The transaction was priced at 28 basis points above mid-swaps.

After this transaction, Kommuninvest has a total of over SEK 75 billion outstanding in 11 Green Bonds – 5 in SEK, 1 in USD and 5 in EUR.

– Our green bonds continue to be in high demand. Our green bond programme, which now includes more than 600 approved green investment projects, have an important role in the sustainable transition in the municipal sector, says Marcus Waineby, Senior Funding Manager at Kommuninvest.
